Valentine's Day is all about showing our love for others. Life is short, spread your love! Typically we send cards, flowers, or something sentimental to a significant other, crush, or lover but this year I thought, why not celebrate the moms in my life?Read More
This month I wanted to celebrate the pumping mamas. Keep at it, feed the baby, and remember you're fabulous! Pumping rarely feels glamorous, but it should.Read More
As any new breastfeeding mother can tell you, making all this milk creates some cravings that surpass even those of pregnancy. It seems like there are never quite enough snacks within reach and the water bottle just can't be refilled fast enough. Of course, eating healthy is what's best for mama and baby, but a slice of cake for breakfast every once in a while is the spice of life, isn't it? Everything in moderation... I doodled this little page while baby nursed and napped in my lap yesterday and today I thought it would be fun to color in while my toddler took a snooze. If there's any interest, this might be the coloring page next month, or it might slip it's way into my infant feeding coloring book, coming out this year!
If you're following along on my coloring journey, you'll be excited to hear that the new set of free 3 Girls Doodle coloring pages are available! That means you'd better grab last month's page if you haven't done so already since tomorrow it will disappear back into the archives. Check out Liliana Beatriz Artworks and Robyn McKeown Design for the other free pages!
I'm still hoping to release a small pack of pages for paid download later in the month and am now working on an eduational breastfeeding coloring book that I hope to release in the next year. Follow along here on the blog or on my Facebook page for updates. And if you haven't already, join us over on the 3 Girls Doodle Facebook Group to share your coloring pages, ideas, and inspiration!
Happy New Year and see you on the other side!
Happy holidays and almost Solstice! I am so looking forward to the days beginning to lengthen again after Monday, aren't you? I love a cozy evening full of cuddling and hot tea as much as the next knitter, but when the sun is beginning its descent around 2pm, things have gotten a bit out of hand. And let's be real, there's a minimal amount of cuddling and a large amount of chasing a toddler around the house, trying to prevent her from undoing the small amount of cleaning I can accomplish at 36 weeks pregnant. I'm tired.
If I were a smart woman, I would have napped today while my toddler slept. Instead, I drew this Christmas card and recorded the process in my first "timelapse" video! I've learned a few things by trial and error and hope that the next time I give this a try the quality will be a bit better. Nevertheless, I hope you enjoy this little card and video I put together.
Remember to take some time for yourself and your family this holiday season. December has a way of finding its way away from even the most careful planners. If you need an excuse to sit down and take it easy, I can't recommend coloring enough. I've got two free coloring pages for download on Gumroad for the next month. Go take a look, print a page or two, and sit down for some serious relaxation.
